[vc_row][vc_column][mk_fancy_title tag_name=”h1″ size=”26″ font_family=”none” responsive_align=”left” el_class=”ucgen ucgenbasinbulteni”]Ekol’s First Year Just Graduated[\/mk_fancy_title][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row padding=”0″][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”false”]Ekol Class<\/b>\u00a0opened in 2013 at\u00a0Harmandere Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School<\/b><\/a>, by Ekol, which is recognized for its projects to benefit the logistics industry as well as the wider society, with a view to dealing with employment and training issues the industry faces, has seen its first year to graduate by the end of academic year 2014-2015. 23 graduates of Ekol Class had received on-site and direct education by experts in the field.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][mk_image src=”http:\/\/www.ekol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/harmandere-meslek-okulu-mezuniyet.jpg” image_size=”full” lightbox=”true” frame_style=”shadow_only” align=”center” crop=”true”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row padding=”0″][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ekol, as part of its active support for education since day one, had set up a modern computer lab for 40 students of Ekol Class at Harmandere Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, as well as applied education depots, to meet the needs of the industry. Furthermore, a library was set up to help students develop affection for reading and improve their expressive skills. Within the framework of on-site training activities, students were taken to visits to facilities; seminars were held to bring students and experienced specialist unit managers of Ekol together. Booklets on warehouse management, distribution, and customs procedures were drawn up to support education curriculum, in order to help raise well-equipped graduates for the industry. 12th graders had their internship for ‘Skills Training at Businesses<\/b>‘ at Ekol’s facilities.<\/p>\n

Ahmet Musul, the Chairman of Ekol<\/b>, noted the following: “Even though this is a comparatively small investment, we will quickly expand Ekol Class, to render it the most efficient vocational high-school, providing a robust education. I can easily tell that no other investment made me so proud.”<\/p>\n

Turkey’s first and only model project for this industry, Ekol – Harmandere Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School project received, on 28 May, 2015, the “Special Jury Award<\/b>” in the Corporate Responsibility Category, in the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0Learning and Development Awards by the Education and Development Platform Association (TEGEP).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
