After two-years of legal process and construction work, the Terminal now serves the Turkish economy. It had an initial investment of \u20ac40 million. Beginning with an export trip, the Terminal accepted its first vehicles on Tuesday, October 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and the first Ro-Ro trip commenced on Wednesday, October 4. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Alternative Transport&#8217;s<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> Ro-Ro vessel, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>QEZBAN<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, has already set out for Trieste\/Italy. The official Opening Ceremony of Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal will take place in the days ahead. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Constructed in Yalova Top\u00e7ular with an 80,000 square-meter floor area and 500 trailer capacity, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> has a dock with 2 ramps, X-Ray, a customs office, a laboratory, agency offices, social facilities for drivers, a short-term storage area of 16,000 square meters and an ADR warehouse. Carcinogenic materials will be tested in the laboratories at Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal, paving the way for exporting textile and leather products, shoes, stationary and toys. The department that will analyze the food items for import and export will be operational by the end of the year. As of November, vehicles destined for export will use the gasoline station without paying Special Consumption Tax. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> keeping more than 100,000 trailers out of Istanbul traffic will put an end to high vehicle density in Haydarpa\u015fa and also provide traffic relief in the Harem-\u00dcsk\u00fcdar direction on the Anatolian Side. The Terminal will also end operational inefficiencies caused by time wasted in urban traffic. Until now,<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b> Ekol<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> has carried out its foreign operations from Haydarpa\u015fa Port. From now on, it will continue from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">On the opening of the most modern terminal in Turkey and in Europe, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Ekol&#8217;s Chairman Ahmet Musul<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> said:<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_blockquote font_family=&#8221;none&#8221;]\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>This investment was made in the most logistically relevant region of Turkey and will support the efforts of all our exporters, especially the automotive industry. Our investments have contributed to the development of both our company and the industry as a whole; this will soon help us produce much better solutions based on quality and profit.<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i> As a leader and role model company well in front of its competitors both in Turkey and in our region, we will move ahead at full speed.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n[\/mk_blockquote][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1507191194274{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> will improve efficiency by helping producers and carriers save both time and money. The new terminal will also contribute significantly to environmental protection.
