Ekol<\/span>\u00a0in Poland and Regatta have recently signed a\u00a0new six-years\u2019 contract which means entering the third phase of cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two companies have been cooperating since January 2018 and, until now, <\/span>Ekol<\/span> has been operating for Regatta a\u00a0warehouse space of 10\u00a0000 m2 (more than 10\u00a0000 pallets) and storing 28\u00a0000 SKUs. <\/span>Ekol<\/span> offers comprehensive logistics services including VAS, returns, as well as <\/span>
\n<\/span>e-commerce shipments. It should be noted that presently <\/span>Ekol<\/span> serves recipients throughout the EU, having started with just three countries in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”65670″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]We are pleased to announce we will expand our current cooperation with Regatta, the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>3<\/span>rd<\/span>\u00a0phase of cooperation wi<\/span>ll start in July 2020<\/span> and means enlarging the warehouse space by extra 23 000 m2.<\/span>[\/mk_blockquote][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1593081642676{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\u2013 says <\/span>Arkadiusz<\/span> <\/span>Jastrz\u0119bski<\/span>, <\/span>Country Manager, <\/span>Ekol<\/span> Poland. <\/span><\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1593081659063{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]At the moment, <\/span>Ekol<\/span> Poland’s total warehouse space is nearly 40\u00a0000 m2, and the company\u2019s strategy is offering warehousing not only for long-term but also for short-term contracts and for various project sizes (so also for smaller companies). It is really optimistic. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]We are preparing shipments for Regatta\u2019s wholesalers and shops in most EU countries while also taking over e-commerce service for recipients in other EU countries. At present, <\/span>
\n<\/span>e-commerce is the most dynamically growing part of cooperation between <\/span>Ekol<\/span> and Regatta. We are aware that the new contract is a big challenge and at the same time a great chance for further development of <\/span>Ekol\u2019s<\/span> contract logistics in Poland. Since the beg<\/span>inn<\/span>ing of our cooperation, our storage capacity has increased about 15 times with a\u00a0more than 7-fold daily output capacity growth<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>[\/mk_blockquote][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1593081753459{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n

Cooperation has been extended for another six years, with a\u00a0potential for expanding the\u00a0range of countries covered to beyond the EU, e.g. by Russia and Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]Ekol<\/span> Logistics and their team in <\/span>Pozna\u0144<\/span> have developed a 1 st<\/span> class operation to service our European customer base, the expansion into a larger facility is a natural progression of an already very successful operation. \n<\/span>e-commerce services, as well as intermodal and road transport services. <\/span>Ekol<\/span> in Poland holds AEO certificate ensuring high level of customs services offered by the\u00a0company<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Panattoni<\/span> Park Poznan VII, that will be used for this phase, is a modern distribution center, located in <\/span>Koninko<\/span>, 12<\/span> <\/span>km from the Poznan<\/span> city <\/span>centre<\/span>. The <\/span>project<\/span> consists of five warehouse buildings <\/span>with<\/span> <\/span>a<\/span> space of<\/span> 130,000 <\/span>sq<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>m. The buildings’ design provides for advanced technical solutions, ensuring top-quality warehouse space (class A), as well as functionality and flexibility in defining lease units. The park is equipped with receiving docks, drive-ins from the ground floor, and additional parking spaces.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]We are very strong in intermodal transport, we offer and plan to develop road, sea, air and rail transport, but <\/span>Ekol<\/span> wants to be <\/span>seen more<\/span> and more as logistics operator. We are not the largest company in Poland but we are more flexible than most of logistics operators<\/span>;<\/span> we also design operational solutions with our customers from scratch. We have our own WMS system which is under continuous development and allows rapid implementation and continuous adaptation to the changing needs of our customers.
